What is the IIM Ahmedabad AGMP?

The Accelerated General Management Programme (AGMP) is IIM Ahmedabad's flagship executive certificate program for working professionals. It runs for 1 year in blended format — live sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 1pm, plus campus immersion visits at IIMA's Ahmedabad campus.

Batch 18 commences July 2026. Application closure is June 8, 2026. The fee is ₹8,00,000 + GST, payable in 4 instalments of ₹2L each.

Curriculum focus

The AGMP is explicitly interdisciplinary — it covers strategy, finance, marketing, operations, leadership, innovation and digital transformation as a cohesive general management curriculum. It is built on IIMA's case method pedagogy. The emphasis is on "learn today, apply tomorrow" — frameworks that can be applied immediately in your current role.

Who should apply

The AGMP targets mid-to-senior level professionals in large corporates. If you are at the VP, Director, GM or BU head level and want to strengthen your general management toolkit with India's most prestigious credential, this is the program. The peer cohort — senior professionals across industries — is as valuable as the curriculum itself.

Is it worth ₹8L?

At ₹8L, the AGMP is the most expensive program on this site. Whether it is worth it depends entirely on your career context. For professionals targeting C-suite or boardroom roles where the IIMA credential is a meaningful differentiator — yes. For professionals where an IIM Kozhikode or IIM Trichy certificate would serve the same purpose for ₹2–4L less — consider those first.
